The Knights operate under a comprehensive Faith in Action framework. Instead of just talking about faith, members actively serve their community through tangible volunteer efforts:
  • Parish Support: Partnering directly with St. Benedict Parish to anchor parish life, run fundraisers like the FundScrip Gift Card Drive, and assist in church ministries.
  • Community Support: Volunteering and raising funds for vital local organizations.
  • Global Relief: Participating in massive international initiatives, including the Coats for Kids program, food drives, and disaster relief tracking.

Founded on the core principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism, the order provides a practical framework for men to become better husbands, fathers, and community leaders. The Programs can be classed under four headings Faith, Family, Community and Life Programs.

Faith Programs

The Council helps men and their families grow closer to God and support the Liturgical life of the parish.

  • RSVP – Financial and prayer support for seminarians.
  • Rosary Program – Organize communal rosary nights or distributing rosaries to first Communicants.
  • Spiritual Reflections – Annual retreats or organized holy hours at St Benedict Church.

Family Programs

The Council is committed to strengthen the domestic church through wholesome, faith-filled family bonding.

  • Family of the Month/Year: Recognizing a local parish family that goes above and beyond.Family Prayer Night: Dedicated evenings for families to come together in prayer and fellowship.Consecration to the Holy Family: An annual parish-wide prayer event usually held on the Feast of the Holy Family.

Community Programs

The Council takes an active part in community based  hands-on charity work that impacts the broader Milton region.
  • Coats for Kids: Collecting and distributing brand-new winter coats to children in need across Halton Region before the winter hits.
    • Special Olympics Support: Highlighting volunteer hours and fundraising drives for the Milton Special Olympics.
    • Food Drives: Ongoing collections or financial drives benefiting the Society of St. Vincent de Paul food pantry.

 

Life Programs

The Council is active and focused on defending the dignity of human life from conception to natural death.
  • March for Life: Organizing transportation or support for members attending the annual March for Life in Ottawa
    • Aid and Support after Pregnancy (ASAP): Raising funds or material goods (diapers, formula) for local pregnancy crisis centres.
    • Silver Rose Program: Hosting the traveling Silver Rose prayer service to honor Our Lady of Guadalupe and the pro-life cause.
