We also offer guaranteed-issue life insurance coverage of members\u2019 children under the age of 18, regardless of pre-existing medical conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Continuing Blessed Michael McGivney\u2019s legacy as \u201cDefender of the Widow and Orphan,\u201d our Orphan Benefit includes monthly payments of $500 for members\u2019 orphaned children. In addition, this benefit provides $5,000 a year in college scholarships (up to $20,000).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Scholarships<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Knights of Columbus has given more than $1.5 million in college, university, graduate school and seminary scholarships.
