Chaplin's Message

Dear Knights of Columbus and Friends,

I am always grateful for the good works that different groups in our parish offer to our community but in a special way, I would like to thank the good work of the Knights of Columbus. To the parish, diocese and community at large, the Knights embody the vision of Venerable Michael J. McGivney to stand up for the Catholic faith and to reach out to the less fortunate among us. Fr. McGivney’s vision was not just for when he founded the Knights of Columbus in 1882 but continues today! The Knights of Columbus continue a vision to make the Kingdom of Christ alive and real in our world today.

Saint Benedict of Nursia Council is our parish council of the Knights of Columbus. We were established in May of 2017. I encourage all men of our parish to join the Knights of Columbus and become part of a wonderful organization that is found throughout the world. I hope and pray that the Knights of our parish will have a long and fulfilling connection with our parish.

Please be assured of my continued prayers and support as we move forward into the future and the building of our new parish church!

God Bless, Father James Petrie Pastor
